Religious Education

Registration Forms for the new Catechetical Year are now available in the Parish and Religious Education Office.  We will offer classes on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30a.m. and Mondays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Jr. High classes next year will be offered on Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m. Please call Religious Education Office for more information. Our number is 847-2652.

CALLING ALL NEW CATECHISTS!!!!

The Religious Education is in need of new catechists for our classes that will begin in September. Some of our catechists will not be returning next year and in order for our program to continue to run smoothly, the Religious Education Office is asking our community to consider begin a catechist or catechist aid in the classroom. Training is provided. Please call the Catechetical Ministry Office for more information at 847-2652.

BASIC CATECHIST TRAINING

The Catechetical Ministry Office will be holding TRAINING for all catechists and aides beginning this Tuesday, July 19th at 7:00 p.m. in St. Francis Center. Catechists that have been in this ministry this past year are REQUIRED to attend Training Sessions for their Certification. Please call the Religious Education Office for more information.

Confirmation

ALL Year I Candidates NEED to Register in order to be placed in Year II. If you do not register, you will NOT be placed into the Year II Preparation Process!! Year II Candidates are reminded to submit their Mass Slips each week when they attend Mass. Part of the commitment process in the preparation is to attend Mass. Not attending Mass on a regular basis could result in not being able to move on in the Confirmation Preparation Process. Please Call the Religious Education Office for more information.

Registration Forms for New Candidates who are interested in enrolling into Year I are now available. When you register, please come prepared with a copy of your Candidates Baptism Certificate.

RCIA (Catechumenate Process)

There will be an Information Night for the RCIA Sacramental Preparation Process on Monday, July 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Common Room of St. Francis Center. If you are an adult or know of an adult or child who would like receive Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist please invite them to this informational meeting or have them call  Barbara in the Religious Education Office at 847-2652 for more information.
